Two unlikely lovers.
And 220 cardboard boxes.

London-based Single Shoe Productions’ A Wall Between Us combines video projection, visual storytelling and illusions to interweave three revealing stories, examining our need to belong to a place, how this affects us, others, and the land itself.

[Image description: Two performers sit inside of a car made out of cardboard boxes and projections. The male-presenting performer sits on the left and wears a hat, sunglasses, a black shirt, and an army vest. The female-presenting performer sits on the right, wearing the same pink hat and sunglasses. Behind the performers are endless stacks of white banker boxes, with a projection on them that looks like an old-fashioned Americana advertisement for motor oil. The rest of the image is obscured by darkness.]
