On August 22nd and 23rd at 7 PM, local playwright José Díaz will premiere La Ultima Parada, or The Last Stop, his most recent theatrical work at Touchstone Theatre in Bethlehem. La Ultima Parada takes place in the office of Jacoba, a woman many believe to be a witch. Her clients—a woman uncertain about her financial future, an alcoholic, a gambler, an obsessive, and a woman who has a sexual fondness for shoes—visit Jacoba seeking to correct their traumas, problems, and vices. During these visits, Jacoba’s assistants, Sacrificio and Malabares, face their own struggles filled with complaints, corrections, and discomfort. Experience surprise after surprise, and leave La Ultima Parada having learned about the unspoken rules of life.

En agosto 22 y 23 a las 7PM estrenaremos en el Teatro Touchstone en Bethlehem, la pieza La Ultima Parada, nuestro trabajo teatral más reciente. La Ultima Parada tiene lugar en la oficina de Jacoba, una mujer que muchos creen que es una bruja. Sus clientes, una mujer insegura sobre su futuro financiero, un alcohólico, un jugador, un obsesivo y una mujer que tiene afición sexual por los zapatos, visitan a Jacoba buscando corregir sus traumas, problemas y vicios. Durante estas visitas, los asistentes de Jacoba, Sacrificio y Malabares, enfrentan sus propias luchas llenas de quejas, correcciones y malestar.
