Artist in Residence – Single Shoe Productions

Bringing us their two-person performance, A Wall Between Us, as well as some guest spots in other Festival activities.

October 2-6

An international theatre company founded by immigrants, Single Shoe creates theatrical experiences that challenge boundaries, explore connections that hold us together, and celebrate our common humanity, regardless of where we come from. They combine visual storytelling, physical comedy, and a love for the absurd to create and tour original theatre for universal audiences.

  • Thursday, Oct 3 and Friday, Oct 4 Single Shoe will participate in our outdoor celebration of community, Twilight with Touchstone.
  • Saturday, Oct 5 and Sunday, Oct 6 join us at The Ice House for Single Shoe’s powerful performance piece, A Wall Between Us.

He sits in a red chair and leans on one arm, hiding a smile behind his hand. She sits to his right in a blue chair grinning broadly at something we can’t see just off camera. Behind them both are endless stacks of white banker boxes.]
